A beast with many faces...
Here are a few examples to help you recognize the different forms violence can take in relationships:
  • Physical: your partner pushes you, hits you, etc.
  • Psychological: your partner insults you, pouts, or ask you to stop seeing your friends.
  • Sexual: your partner forces you to have sex when you say NO.
There is no justification for either of you being violent in any way (read more here about violence).
