What is it?

• It’s a prescription written by a doctor or a group of doctors to a specially trained nurse who can then give you access, if you are in good health, to hormonal contraceptives for a period of six months.
• Afterwards, you can see a doctor to obtain an individual prescription if you want to continue using the hormonal contraceptives.
• This measure aims to reduce the number of unplanned pregnancies in Québec.

• The hormonal contraception collective prescription covers the following methods: vaginal ring, injection, mini-Pill, Pill, and patch.
