Mini-Pill
•    The mini-Pill is a hormonal contraceptive method.
•    It is different than the regular Pill; it doesn’t contain estrogen, only progesterone.
•    It is prescribed by a physician. In Québec, it may be prescribed by a nurse for a period of six months in accordance with a collective prescription for hormonal contraception.
•    This method is intended for women 35 years and over, who are nursing or who are unable to take estrogen.
•    The mini-Pill is not recommended for teenagers because it has to be taken regularly to remain effective.
