Hello you!
We received both of your e-mails but we can only respond to one e-mail per day. That being said, I invite you to write back about the other question you have regarding pregnancy.
First, I would like to reassure you. When a condom is correctly used, it’s pretty effective against unwanted pregnancies. If you say that the protection you used didn't broke of slipped, why do you have worries? Why can't you trust the position of your boyfriend? Again, condom is one of the most popular contraceptive methods because of its reliability when used as directed. That being said, what could reassure you in the future? Have you thought about using another protection? To give yourself added protection, you could team up a condom with a spermicidal jelly, foam, cream, suppository, or film. These products can stop sperm from moving up the female reproductive tract in case the condom breaks. You could also take a appointment to have yourself prescribes an oral contraceptive if you think it could be a good option for you. What do you think? I'll let you think about it.
Now, I think it's important to let you know that unprotected sex is always risky regarding a pregnancy. That is true in all time of the menstrual cycle. In your case, you said that you had your period a day after your relation. Like we said before, you were protected so you probably don't need to worry about that. But it could be precious information for your future relations to know that, in certain circumstances, it doesn't mean that we could not be pregnant. Do you know why? In fact, we say that not having our period is a reliable sing of pregnancy. But it's not always the case for every woman, especially during the first months of the pregnancy. What do you think?
I hope I have answered your question. Feel free to write back if you still have any concerns. Ok?
Take care,
Tel-jeunes
